SCHOOL BOARD ELECTIONS

(Public Notice of Filing)


The Renick R-V School District encourages qualified persons interested in running for a position on the school board to file as a candidate for the Tuesday, April 7, 2026, Municipal Election. 

Interested persons may file at the superintendent’s office located at 101 Middle St., Renick, MO 65278. For more information, contact Karen Williams, Bookkeeper / Secretary to the Board of Education

at: kwilliams@renick.k12.mo.us or by calling the school office at 660-263-4886. 


Filing will begin on December 9, 2025 at 8:00 a.m. and will continue Tuesday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., except for the first and last day of filing.

Filing will not occur on days that the school district office is closed, including days due to inclement weather and holiday breaks. Filing will not occur on the following dates:

December 19, 23, 24, 25, and 30. Filing will resume on December 31, 2025, at 4:00 p.m. and will end on December 31, 2025, at 5:00 p.m.


There are 3 positions available with 3-year terms. Candidates will be listed on the ballot in the order of filing.

    Visiting Our Building

    Visiting Our Building Policy KK
    Per our most recent re-opening plan revisions, visitors will be allowed into the building for school events only. Otherwise, visitors will not be allowed past the front foyer without prior permission of the administration.  
    Parents/Guardians and patrons of the district are welcome to visit district schools and attend district events; however, all visitors during business hours, including Board members, must sign or check in at the building office prior to proceeding elsewhere in the building. The district discourages parents/guardians or others from using district property or events as places for visiting students and may refuse the use of district property for that purpose.

    Missouri Course Access Program (MOCAP) And Virtual Course Enrollment

    In accordance with state law, our district provides the option to enroll in approved virtual courses including courses offered through MOCAP. Please see your building counselor about enrollment options.

    Enrollment Periods
    Fall semester: 10 days prior to the first day of the semester through the first 5 days of the semester.
       
    Spring Semester: 10 days prior to the end of the Fall Semester through the first 5 days of the Spring Semester.
